Pre-Conference Tour A - Massada and the Dead Sea

Itinerary: Descend to the Judean Desert via the Inn of the Good Samaritan. Ascend Massada by cable car to tour the 2000 year old fortress and palace built by King Herod. Drive via Ein Gedi and Qumran and overview the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Float in the mineral-rich Dead Sea - at 400m below sea level, the lowest place on earth. Take a mud-bath and benefit from the therapeutic qualities of the natural Dead Sea mud. Drive back to Jerusalem with over view of Jericho and old Roman Road before returning to Tel Aviv.

Pre-Conference Tour B - Jerusalem - Old and New

Itinerary: Begin the day with a panoramic overview from the Mount of Olives, overlooking the new city of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. Travel along the Kidron Valley to view the Garden of Gethsemane and the walls of the Old City. Enter the Western (Wailing) Wall Square through the Armenian Quarter and walk via the local Bazaar to the Christian Quarter, the Stations of the Cross (Via Dolorosa) and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre - the site of the crucifixion. Walk along the 1700 year old Byzantine main street (the Cardo) and the renovated Jewish Quarter before ascending to Mt. Zion. View some of the main sites of the New city by bus and conclude the day at Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum before returning to Tel Aviv.

Post- Conference Tour C - Nazareth, Tiberias and Sea of Galilee

Itinerary: Begin the journey northwards travelling along Israel's scenic coastal plain via the plain of Armageddon to Nazareth. In Nazareth, visit the Church of the Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Continue via Cana to view the Mount of Beatitudes and Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish at Tabgha. Stop to view the ruins of the ancient synagogue of Capernaum and the city of Christ. Continue via Tiberias to the baptismal site of Yardenit on the Jordan River (optional baptismal service for the participants). Return towards Tel Aviv via the scenic view of Mt. Tabor, the site of the transfiguration.

Rate per person: US$ 78.00

Day tours are based on a minimum participation of 15 participants.

Rates include pick-up and drop-off from official conference hotels. The tours are with the services of a government licensed English speaking guide, using an air-conditioned motor coach.
Rates include entrance fees as per itinerary.
Rates do not include lunches, incidentals and tips to guide and driver.

Optional, tailor-made, private car tours can be offered according to requests. Optional tours can be arranged throughout Israel as well as to Petra, Jordan and Egypt.

In order to book your accommodation, and in order to benefit from the special rates, please complete the online accommodation and tours form. A deposit of US$250 per room is required and full payment for tours. The balance is payable (less deposit) upon your arrival at the Hospitality Desk with a 3% surcharge. If full payment is made together with reservation (or at least one month prior to arrival) there will be no surcharge.

FLIGHTS

Direct flights to Tel Aviv exist from most major airports in northern America, Europe, India, China, Thailand, Brazil and Africa by El Al Israel Airlines, as well as by other international carriers.

TRANSPORTATION FROM BEN GURION INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO CONFERENCE HOTELS

By Taxi

Taxis from the airport to the Tel Aviv hotels cost approx. $50. Taxis are available outside the Arrivals Hall at Ben Gurion Airport (Level G). Depending on traffic, the journey should take between 30 to 45 minutes.

By Train

The train station in Ben Gurion Airport is located on Level S. Tickets may be purchased through automated dispensers on Level G. We recommend disembarking the train at Tel Aviv Center - Savidor, and from there taking a taxi to your hotel.
